Daniel’s Sungold Tomato Sauce

The following is a rather loose recipe (as many of mine are), please use and modify for your own needs and tastes.


1 Qt Sun Gold Tomatoes
1 Yellow Onion
3 Cloves Garlic
1 Ripe Yellow Peper
Olive Oil (any type)

Slice or chop onions, lightly brown in olive oil.

In a separate pot, cook down sun gold tomatoes until it starts to thicken, then (optionally)
run it through the Foley food mill

OR if you want to remove seeds first:

Add other ingredients (garlic, pepper, carrots) and salt to taste.

Simmer on low heat until thick and tasty. Enjoy!

Makes about a Quart.
